Summer 2013

As we now enter the last month of summer our thoughts turn to the change of weather to come and the holiday season preparations we should be starting.  I think we are having a test of the weather right now, it’s nice to have it comfortable and not so hot and humid.  We are also getting ready for the fair at the end of August just before the start of school.  In Elkhorn it is a busy time for the town, and also for you quilters that enter your quilts to be judged, I hope you are working on your entries.  The Madison show is the week after Labor Day and we are off and running for the season of stitchery and quilting, as well as the gift season.  The summer sale will be a good place to start you off on those projects, as well as getting your sewing machine cleaned and ready to go, so be sure and mark your calendars.
