Summer Update

Well we’re off and running for the summer, the kids are out and the summer fun begins. As for the shop, fall and winter are just arriving. The rich fall colors in plaids and prints, as well as the festive colors for the holidays are exciting any time of the year. The new patterns and books from market are starting to show up also. Lots of new stitchery from Crabapple Hill, Pumpkin Patch from Need’l Love, and lots of books for those great scrap quilts. Stop in and take a peek there is a lot to keep anyone wound up for quite awhile.

Sewing Machine Tune Up

Just a reminder, Brian Swiggum will be here on Wednesday, June 14th to clean and oil sewing machines. Drop them off that day or the day before. $35 for the tune up. Keeping your machine in good working order makes life easy when you want to start those projects.

Half Square Triangle Swap

Time is getting near for those interested in joining the swap. It is a great way to use some of those scraps and make a fun quilt, tote or wall hanging. I will have some samples for you to see the night of the swap. You will get back as many triangles as you bring in, and you will use half square triangle paper so they will all be the same size. Stop in and get the details and get some of the paper and your good to go.
  • Turn in date: On or before Saturday June 25
  • Swap night: Wednesday June 29
  • Where: Sawdust & Stitches
  • Time: 6pm
